Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2024
By using Affordable Roofing RVA's website or requesting services, you agree to these Terms of Service. They govern your relationship with our company and outline your rights and responsibilities when engaging our roofing solutions.
Service Agreements
All roofing work is governed by a written agreement outlining scope, materials, timeline, and payment terms. Work begins only after your signed approval. Changes to the agreement require written confirmation.
Payment Terms
A deposit is required to schedule work. Final payment is due upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may incur fees as permitted by law.
Workmanship Guarantee
Affordable Roofing RVA provides a 10-year workmanship warranty covering defects in installation. This does not extend to damage from natural disasters, improper maintenance, or modifications by third parties.
Material Warranties
Manufacturer warranties on roofing materials are transferred to the customer upon installation. We provide documentation and support to facilitate claim filing if needed.
Scheduling and Delays
Delays due to weather, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions may occur. We notify you promptly and reschedule work with minimal disruption to your timeline.
Insurance and Liability
We are fully licensed and insured. In the event of damage caused by our work, liability is limited to the cost of corrective repairs. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
Site Access and Safety
You must provide safe access to the work area. We assume no responsibility for hazards not disclosed prior to work commencement. Safety protocols are strictly followed during all projects.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Affordable Roofing RVA website, including text, images, and design, is the property of the company and protected under copyright law. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. If terminated early, you are responsible for payment for work completed and materials delivered.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes will first be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, parties agree to mediation in Richmond, Virginia, before pursuing legal action.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal action must be filed in the appropriate jurisdiction within the state.
